The 69th New York in 2024 has added a more civilian element to its ranks this season. As well as portraying soldiers and musicians of the 69th New York, we are also displaying the US Sanitary Commission, the US Christian Commission, and an American Civil War Women’s History Display. Our goal is to inform the public with these under represented groups, and garner interest in the American Civil War from a different angle
